Goodbye to a special friend

Cricket: (?) - 2000

Cricket, our gorgeous tortoise shell with beautiful yellow eyes, passed away May 26, 2000 from old age. Cricket came to us in May of 1998. She came to us when she was old and nobody wanted her. We took her in and she had a special place in our heart like all the other foster cats that come though our home.

Cricket loved her treats and having her head scratched. She would wait under the kitchen table for breakfast and supper, and she always had her favorite spot to sit on the couch right in the corner where the two sections met. We believe that during the two years with us she felt loved and wanted. Cricket we hope that wherever you are you are being well treated like you deserve.

We will miss you Cricket.
